7-day Chalet Chef Cooking Course – Easter

One of the most intensive courses in the UK. We cover in one week what most courses cover in 2! Specially designed for young people looking to find work in the Chalet or Yachting business, this comprehensive course will give you the experience that companies recruiting in the these fields are looking for. Come to us and learn to cook in a way that will help you get a job when you leave. We have worked closely with the companies to ensure that we are teaching in a way that fits their criteria. Our team of friendly but professional chefs will teach you knife skills, kitchen hygiene, efficient prepping and planning, budgeting, shopping and time management.
The course provides the following key skills:
- time management and menu planning
- key cheffing and cookery skills that you can rely on
- menus including starters, main courses and desserts for adults and children, vegetarian options, alternatives for restricted diets, cakes and canapés
- nutritional and special diets advice
- food presentation
- budgeting and time management
- level II Food & Hygiene certificate
- table-setting and basic wine comprehension
- interview sessions with ski/yacht companies
- accommodation
Tuition will run from 9am – 5pm each day (9.30 on first day) with some evening sessions from Monday 8th April to Sunday 14th April
