Specially designed for young people looking to find work with top quality Chalet companies, this comprehensive course will give you the experience that companies recruiting in the these fields are looking for. Come to us and learn to cook in a way that will help you get a job when you leave. We have worked closely with the companies to ensure that we are teaching in a way that fits their criteria. Our team of friendly but professional chefs will teach you knife skills, kitchen hygiene, efficient prepping and planning, budgeting, shopping and time management. The course provides the following key skills:

• time management, budgeting and menu planning
• key cheffing and cookery skills that you can rely on
• menus including starters, main courses, desserts and cakes for adults and children, vegetarian and other dietary options
• professional food presentation
• level II Food & Hygiene certificate
• table-setting and wine comprehension
• interview sessions with ski companies while on the course

Accommodation during the stay must be arranged independently. We recommend the following:

• Homerton College (ensuite/shared facility rooms – to be booked via us out of University term times)
• Travelodge (located just a 5-minute walk away from the school)
• Cambridge YHA (private or shared rooms – newly refurbished)
